The gypsy life.
Never in one place twice.
Always on the go,
Metaphorically so.
The gypsy mind.
Its one of a kind.
Always changing,
rearranging

The gypsy type.
They never think twice.
So easy to loose.
They're to fast for you.

As a self taught artist, I started with ink and charcoals, dabbling in watercolor then moved into acrylics. Within my first year creating art, I had my first art show at the West Seattle artwork in 2015, from there, I never looked back!
With my love to explore new places, and the drive for adventure, I was inspired into a new direction with what I wanted to create. On a trip to the Southwest and a chance visit to the ghost town of Jerome AZ, I was somehow led to the remnants of the Gold King Mine, and found myself immersed in a land of vehicles that time forgot. Hundreds of old trucks, delivery wagons and tow vehicles, I spent the afternoon photographing the fronts of these quiet rusting antiques of lives gone by. I knew then that I was to bring these trucks back to life in my paintings. To capture their character on canvas just makes me smile, I become lost in a world of magic while I'm painting these, the feeling of my gypsy soul extending through my brush tips and onto the canvas, I can almost feel the journey these vehicles must of had.
Recently I came into the love of the naked human form. Late in my 40's I fell into modeling in photography for my partner, and with this, became aware of my own sensuality. Then on a freezing cold and dark winter evening, I decide I wanted to paint nude self portraits. Seeing myself in this light brought not only peace, but power and passion to my mind and from there, out onto canvas in black and white brush strokes. My visions only grew and soon I was expanding to the male nude form as well. With the help of friends modeling for me, as I directed the photo-shoots to my liking, and with my partner expertly capturing them on film, I now had my latest pieces of work being brought to life on canvas, directly from my own creative and erotic thoughts.
I am so very pleased and happy to share this all with you, I hope you enjoy it and keep up with my latest artistic ventures onto canvas.
